Angela Bell, FNP, PMHNP is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience across a wide range of healthcare settings. Her journey in healthcare has taken her from the intensity of pediatric intensive care to the steady rhythms of postoperative recovery and family medicine—but it is in psychiatry, where she has focused for more than seven years, that Angela found her true calling.
Angela brings a deep sense of compassion and understanding to every individual and family she supports. She has walked alongside children, adolescents, and adults through some of life’s most vulnerable and challenging moments, offering care for anxiety, depression, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD and trauma-related conditions, insomnia, and pregnancy and postpartum mental health. Her practice is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with dignity.
She is especially passionate about providing inclusive, affirming care to individuals from all walks of life, with a particular commitment to serving the LGBTQ+ community. Angela understands that healing happens best in spaces where people feel safe and respected, and she works hard to foster that sense of belonging in every session.
To make mental health care more accessible, Angela offers virtual-only appointments to individuals across the state of Georgia. Her goal is to remove barriers to care and meet people where they are—emotionally and physically—by providing thoughtful, individualized support from the comfort and privacy of home.
Angela’s care is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and trust. She believes that healing begins with feeling heard and respected, and she takes time to understand each person’s unique story.
Using a combination of evidence-informed medication management, brief supportive psychotherapy, and holistic insights, she builds individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s values, lifestyle, and goals. Shared decision-making is central to her practice—ensuring clients feel informed and empowered throughout their journey.
Angela is deeply committed to helping people move through life’s emotional challenges with dignity and hope. She’s especially passionate about working with individuals who feel overlooked, misunderstood, or unsupported.
She values creating affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ clients, young people, and mothers navigating postpartum transitions. Her work is driven by the belief that mental health care should be accessible, respectful, and tailored to the whole person.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, discovering new local restaurants, and attending live music events.
